Google Is Preparing To Pay A Huge Fine For Tax Noncompliance In France

Google had this to say: “We believe an adequate provision has been made and it is more likely than not that our tax position will be sustained. However, it is reasonably possible that resolution with the French tax authorities could result in an adjustment to our tax position.”
Twitter & Yahoo strike deal to boost promoted tweets in Japan
Twitter has formed its first major international ad partnership with Yahoo Japan by integrating promoted tweets and promoted account campaigns directly into their Promotion Ads Campaign Management Tool. It is unclear if this relationship will extend beyond Japan as Yahoo Japan operates separately.
Ad Spend Growth For Bing Is More Than Double That Of Google’s
In the State of Paid Search for the first quarter of the year, the Search Agency found that Bing's ad spend has grown at a rate more than double that of Google. Total advertising on both has grown with Google seeing a 29% increase and Bing enjoying an impressive 60% growth.
