Google's search engine market share dropped 4.65% from November 2015 to December 2015. In comparison to last year, Google hasn't made any significant changes. Bing continues to roll out new updates and features for users. They have released that they will be "Menu Favourites" in the information card. When searching for a restaurant in the Bing mobile browser, users will see menu items that have been recommended by other diners. Not only will it provide a description of the dish, you can also read the reviews left by other users.

Most of the time, we focus on the user experience on Google's web search. However, Google released a new feature to make our searching experience for images better. Indexing HTTPS pages by default
In December, Google announced on their website that they are adjusting their indexing system to find more HTTPS pages. This is a step to make searching more secure for users and decreasing the risk for users to browse an insecure website. Last year, they began giving a slight ranking boost to websites that are secured with HTTPS.
