Stop Using 411 & Start Using 1-800-GOOG-411!

Sometimes we like to post items on our blog that we find innovative.  Without much surprise Google has managed to do it again with their North America wide 1-800-GOOG-411 service.

Do you use your telephone companies 411 service?  Are you tired of dialing ‘411’ and knowing that you are about to get dinged for $1-2 dollars for asking for a phone number of a local business?

Now Google offers a FREE 411 service North America wide which allows you to locate any business across the continent. 

Here are some of my own favorite features:

• It doesn’t feel like you are talking to an automated attendant
• It is very fast
• It automatically connects you to the business
• It is incredibly user friendly – I think my 90 year old Gramma could use it!
